Update 0.3.0 - Release Notes

We’re incredibly excited to officially launch Torque Drift 2 v0.3.0 to the world via the Epic Games store! Along with this new form of distribution we have added support for several new part types as well as a number of quality of life improvements, we hope you enjoy this first look at TD2. We’re gearing up for a number of large releases (Including driving) heading into the end of the year, and we can’t wait to get them into your hands!

Thanks for your ongoing support! ~ Billy

Epic Games Store

After a lot of effort, we are now officially available on the Epic Games Store! Going forward, this will mean that all updates will be uploaded through this amazing platform and the current standalone launcher will become obsolete. All Torque Drift 2 accounts will behave the same with all parts and cars that you have watchlisted remaining.

Be sure to re-download the game from the Epic Game Store here to stay connected with all future content and updates.

Smaller Changes

Hide UI button

Have you tried to take the perfect picture only to have parts blocked by the UI? Well, worry no longer! A Hide UI button has been added to all photobooth scenes that temporarily leaves your screen bare.

Watermarked photos

All photos taken in the photobooth will now be saved with a Torque Motorsport Watermark. Now, when you share your photos with others, they’ll know you made it in Torque Drift 2.

Steering column

As the customisation for the interior visual wireframe has so many nodes to it, the Steering Wheel has been renamed ‘Steering Column’ and now has a submenu where you can change the Steering Wheel, Keychain and Boss Kit parts.
